The official ticketing partner of Ruisrock is Tiketti. Ruisrock cannot guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from third parties, except for the LiputOn service operated by Tiketti, where ticket authenticity can be verified. Ruisrock is not responsible for lost tickets.
Tickets are not exchanged for wristbands, and each ticket is scanned at the gate every festival day. To minimize the environmental impact on the surrounding nature, tickets allow entry to the festival area only once per day. The exception to this rule is Plus and VIP tickets, which are exchanged for wristbands.
Ruisrock tickets may not be used as competition or lottery prizes, nor may the festival brand be utilized in the marketing of another company or similar entity. Only Ruisrock’s official partners are allowed to organize a lottery for tickets, and even then, only by special agreement. We recommend that children under 14 attend the festival with a guardian. Children under 9 may attend the festival free of charge when accompanied by their guardian. The age of a child under 9 must be proven either with an identity card or another written document. If you do come to Ruisrock with a child, please given them a safe, intoxicant-free festival experience. When you prioritize the child’s needs at the festival, please pay attention especially to the time of day and the size of the festival crowd.
Some of the services at Ruisrock have an age limit. All the VIP areas and the areas where alcohol is served are over 18 only. In addition, part of Ruisrock’s program takes place in the area intended for adults. This mainly applies to some DJ sets.

From Monday, 22 June to Sunday, 26 July 2026, there will be a traffic interruption between Helsinki and Karjaa. Trains between Karjaa and Turku will run at longer intervals. This disruption will also affect the Ruisrock weekend.
Trains between Tampere and Turku will operate as usual.

The Turku bus station is located near the city center.
By car
Driving to the Ruissalo island is not possible during the festival weekend neither is there any space for parking on the island.

Arriving to the festival area
Ruisrock festival site can be reached conveniently with the festival bus or by bike from Turku city centre. There is a clearly marked walking route of about two kilometres (about 1.2 miles) between the festival bus station and the festival site.
Festival bus
The festival buses depart from Maariankatu 6 in central Turku. They also stop at the bus station and the railway station.
The railway station stop is located on Ratapihankatu, next to the Logomo Bridge. You can reach the stop by following the railway station signs from the Logomo Bridge toward the city center. Ruisrock’s own festival bus signs will guide you to the correct stop.
The first buses depart one hour before the festival gates open and operate on a non-stop basis according to the festival’s opening hours. At the end of each festival day, buses will continue running until even the last person leaving the festival area at closing time has had a chance to board a bus.
The festival buses drop passengers off near the Ruissalo Bridge, from where there is a signposted walk of approximately 2 kilometers to the festival area. On the return journey, buses stop at the Logomo Bridge and the bus station when passengers press the STOP button.
A 3-day festival bus ticket can be purchased from Tiketti for €26 and is valid throughout the entire Ruisrock festival. A one-way bus ticket costs €5.80 and can be purchased directly on the bus using contactless payment.
Please note:
- Only contactless payment is accepted on the festival buses.
- The Föli card is not accepted as a payment method.
Please be aware: In 2026, Ruisrock will not offer parking or bus transfers from Artukainen to the festival site.
Buses from Ruissalo Camping & Ruissalo Spa
A non-stop bus service operates from Ruissalo Camping throughout the festival’s opening hours. The journey between the campsite and the festival area takes approximately 20 minutes.
More detailed timetables are available at Ruissalo Camping, and information about transportation from Ruissalo Spa can be obtained directly from the hotel.
Please note: This bus service is not organized by Ruisrock.
Bicycle Parking
The festival area can be conveniently reached by bicycle from central Turku. Cyclists can leave their bikes at the festival’s bicycle parking area, located on Ruissalo Island near the festival grounds.
A free, unattended bicycle parking area is also available on the mainland side next to the Ruissalo Bridge. The nearest Fölläri city bike station is located at the same spot. Please note that city bikes cannot be returned on the island during the event.
Bicycle parking tickets are available for purchase online. Three-day passes can be bought in advance, while single-day tickets can be purchased at the festival entrance.
Visitors who purchase a bicycle parking ticket, either in advance or on-site, will receive a wristband. The wristband must be shown to access the bicycle parking area when dropping off or collecting a bike.
Each user may park one bicycle at a time. There are no designated spaces, so bicycles should be parked in any available spot. Users are responsible for securing their bicycles with their own lock.
Bicycles are left in the parking area at the owner’s own risk. The festival organizer is not responsible for any loss of or damage to bicycles left in the bicycle parking area.
Electric Scooter Parking
Electric scooters from all operators must be left in their designated parking area. The nearest electric scooter parking zone is located in Vaasanpuisto Park and is clearly marked with signs. The use of rental electric scooters to access Ruissalo Folk Park (Ruissalon Kansanpuisto) is strictly prohibited.
The use of private electric scooters within the area is also not recommended, as some of the roads leading to the festival grounds are uneven gravel roads, which may be difficult to navigate safely. Please note that charging facilities for electric scooters and other devices are not available at the festival area.
Ruisrock water buses (VIP tickets)
The water bus service included with VIP tickets operates continuously between Varvintori in Turku and the Ruisrock festival area.

Festival etiquette
Ruisrock is a festival of joy and happiness, celebrated according to the safer space principles while showing respect for other people and the environment.
We all share the responsibility for creating a positive atmosphere at Ruisrock; this includes the festival organizers, the stakeholders and the festival audience. Together, we can create an inclusive festival where everyone feels safe and can be themselves – there is no room for racism, discrimination or harassment at Ruisrock.
Let others party in peace
Everyone has the right to enjoy the festival safely and as they are. Don’t ruin the fun for others – spread good vibes around you.
Take care of others and offer your help
Help those in need and intervene in case of inappropriate behaviour. If necessary, ask for help from people around you or the nearest staff member.
Don’t touch without permission
Respect other people’s boundaries and keep mutual consent in mind. You can only know someone’s boundaries by asking.
Respect nature
Ruisrock is held in the Ruissalo village only once a year – put your rubbish in the bin and pee in the toilets instead of the bush, as a proper guest should.
Ruisrock immediately addresses any incidents of harassment that are reported to the organizer. Violating the festival etiquette may be grounds for being removed from the festival.
Thank you for following the festival etiquette and building a safe event with us. Together, we can create a Ruisrock where everyone feels comfortable!
Discrimination-free Ruisrock
At Ruisrock we do not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind and we respect everyone’s right to bodily integrity and a safe festival environment. Ruisrock encourages low threshold reporting of harassment and the festival is committed to addressing incidents immediately.
What is discrimination?
Discrimination is when a person is treated less favourably than others because of a personal characteristic. Discrimination can be based on gender, gender identity, cultural or ethnic background, religion, disability, sexual orientation, age, nationality, origin, language and appearance, among other characteristics. Harassment, sexual harassment and incitement to discrimination are also forms of discrimination.
What is harassment?
Harassment can take many forms, and anyone can be a victim of harassment or inappropriate treatment. Harassment is conduct that violates a person’s dignity and is linked to one or more of the causes for discrimination. Creating an intimidating, hostile or humiliating environment is also harassment.
What is sexual harassment?
Sexual harassment is intentional, unwanted and one-sided sexually suggestive behaviour, such as physical touching, assessing looks or sexually suggestive language that the target finds unpleasant. The target of the harassment determines whether the behaviour is offensive or abusive. If the other party has not given their consent to touching or interacting, it is sexual harassment.
If you experience harassment, you can contact us through:
- By phone: +358 40 129 0730
- By email: hairinta.ruisrock@mieliturku.fi
- Or contact us anonymously through the form below:
All reports are handled confidentially.

The festival area can also be reached on foot, by festival bus, or by bike. There is a bike parking area near the main gate. VIP tickets include waterbus transport, but the waterbus is not accessible.
Turku city transport Föli buses travel to Ruissalo island, but schedules and routes will change during the festival weekend. The bus does not run at night, and the nearest stop will be out of service.
Movement to and from the island will be slow throughout the festival weekend. The biggest traffic jams occur at night. We will do our best to ensure smooth transportation for everyone.
For temporary accessibility needs, please contact: saavutettavuus@ruisrock.fi
Assistants
An assistant or interpreter may take part in the festival for free together with a paying person that they are assisting. The assistant or interpreter does not need a separate ticket, but they can enter the festival grounds with the person they are assisting.
Ruisrock is a Disability Card event. A person who needs individual support can indicate their need for an assistant with an EU Disability Card, an A symbol or a Visual Impairment Card. We do not require the above-mentioned cards, but showing a card or other document will make the ticket check easier.
If the assisted person is under 9 years old, a caretaker with a ticket must be accompanied.
Physical accessibility
Festival area
The festival area is mostly park and field land, meaning compact grass and sand. The beach area has sand from the swimming beach, which may be difficult to navigate.
Some areas of the terrain are uneven, but nearly the entire festival area is surrounded by asphalt or gravel roads. These roads are marked on the map.
The accessible entrance is located approximately 400 meters from the accessible parking area. The route to the accessible entrance is made of asphalt and hard-packed gravel.
The festival area is large. The distance from the accessible entrance to the beach area is approximately 500 meters.
Weather conditions affect the terrain. In case of rain, there may be puddles and mud. Some areas have wood chips, as they absorb water well and prevent mud. However, the wood chips can sometimes become difficult to navigate. The staff will assist as much as possible if weather conditions cause challenges. Please feel free to ask for help, we are happy to assist.
Viewing platforms
There are viewing platforms near the largest stages. These platforms are 60 cm high and can be accessed via a gentle ramp.
From the viewing platforms, performances are easier to see, for example, from a wheelchair or for those with other accessibility needs who require space or a chair.
A personal assistant or a friend can accompany the assisted person to the platform. If the platform becomes full, we kindly ask that you give space to those who need the platform primarily. We will try to ensure that everyone can enjoy the festival with their friends and personal assistant.
Each platform also has volunteer assistants, known as general assistants. They are trained by the Southwest Finland Assistant Center and will assist in getting to and from the platform if necessary. General assistants can be recognized by their blue reflective vests.
The locations of the viewing platforms are marked on the map.
Toilets
There are accessible toilets at several locations on the festival area. There are gender-neutral toilets and accessible toilets.
Accessible toilets are located at the toilet areas, next to the viewing platforms, and near the bar areas.
Toilet card users can also use the accessible toilets. You can read more about the Toilet card here.
VIP areas have accessible flush toilets.
Obstacles
Ruisrock is not a fully accessible festival.
- The event attracts many people, and sometimes there are crowds. Therefore, there will be times when you may need to wait in line.
- Leaving the festival during peak nighttime traffic can be slow. Leaving during rush hours can be challenging.
- In rainy weather, there may be mud and puddles on the festival area.
- Bringing guide dogs to the festival area is not recommended.
- The event aims to support various forms of participation, but we cannot guarantee individualized accessibility services for everyone.
The staff will do their best to ensure that Ruisrock is suitable for a wide variety of people.

Safety
For Ruisrock, it is extremely important that visitors can enjoy the festival in a comfortable and safe environment. All arrangements are designed to ensure that everyone, including the audience, artists, and staff, can celebrate Ruisrock safely and with peace of mind.
Festival safety is maintained by a large team of security personnel consisting of several hundred staff members. In addition, there will be a significant presence of police and rescue authorities throughout the event. Safety arrangements also extend beyond the festival grounds to the routes used by festival visitors arriving at the festival area in Ruissalon Kansanpuisto.
As a visitor at Ruisrock, you can help ensure a safe and enjoyable festival experience by arriving with a good attitude and taking care of yourself and others. If anything concerns you during the event, or if you see or experience something suspicious, you can always turn to any member of our staff for help.
Please follow these guidelines:
- Always follow the instructions given by security staff.
- Take care of yourself and others.
- Follow festival etiquette.
- Remember to drink non-alcoholic fluids, especially during hot weather. You can refill your water bottle at the many water stations around the festival area.
- Respect the peace and privacy of the residents of Ruissalo. Do not enter private yards or their surrounding areas.
- All forms of open fire are prohibited within the festival area.
- Follow signs and marked routes. Separate paths are designated for pedestrians and cyclists.
- Choose festival clothing and gear according to the weather. Please note that temperatures may drop significantly in the evening.
There is a first aid station on the festival grounds staffed by trained medical personnel, where festival visitors can receive help for minor injuries and accidents. The station, located between the Main Gate and the Park stage, is open throughout the entire festival. First aid patrols also move around the festival area. If you need assistance, approach any first aid or security staff member.
The general emergency number in Finland is 112, where immediate help is also available if needed.
In addition to Ruisrock’s own safety staff, the Turku Police will also be present in and around the festival area.
If you feel uncomfortable in large crowds, avoid the areas directly in front of the stages and other densely crowded places. If you do find yourself in crowd pressure, stay calm. Do not resist the movement of the crowd; instead, move with it. Try to make your way out once the crowd begins to spread out. If needed, ask nearby festivalgoers for help. Even in the excitement of the festival, remember to be mindful of others around you.
As at all major festivals, crowd surfing is prohibited at Ruisrock. The purpose of this rule is to prevent overcrowding and dangerous situations in front of the stages. Sitting on another person’s shoulders is also not allowed.
Ruisrock has a fantastic swimming beach within the festival area. However, swimming alone or while intoxicated is not safe, so we encourage visitors to swim only with others and while sober. The beach area is supervised by security staff and the Turun Meripelastusseura.
Smoking is prohibited in front of the stages during concerts. Separate smoking areas are marked throughout the festival area where smoking is permitted. All smoking restrictions within the area also apply to e-cigarettes.
Video and photography are allowed at Ruisrock using various devices. DSLR cameras, GoPro-style cameras, tablets, and similar devices are permitted, as are selfie sticks. However, drones are prohibited for safety reasons.
Please remember to respect the privacy of other festival visitors when posting photos online. The same rules apply at the festival as in other public places when photographing, good manners, respect for others, and common sense go a long way. Security staff also have the right to prohibit photography in certain situations, for example at an artist’s request during a performance.
Remember to protect your hearing. Earplugs are available for purchase at the information points.
In addition to Ruisrock’s own safety staff, the Turku Police will also be present in and around the festival area.
