Upbeat Eurodance and an energetic stage show will be brought to Ruisrock by recent Contest for New Music UMK winner Windows95man.
Windows95Man participated in this year’s UMK contest with his first single No Rules with vocals sung by Henri Piispanen. No Rules is advice for life – a protest against the grey mundane life, where a higher authority dictates the “norms” and defines how you should live, look, behave and so on.
Windows95Man’s story began when home videos uploaded by Teemu Keisteri to YouTube began circulating around the world. The Windows95Man character was brought to life at a 2013 DJ gig at Flow Festival. The outfit was created from shorts cut short by Keisteri’s friend and a Windows95 shirt ordered online. Since then, Windows95Man has performed at numerous events over the years.
