A core member and one of the vocalists of The xx, Romy has followed in the footsteps of her band mates Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith (alias Jamie xx) and plunged into the world of club music in her solo career, working in close collaboration with the likes of Fred again.
Romy is a talented composer and has helped create each of the three albums released by The xx, in addition to tracks such as Dua Lipa’s Grammy-winning hit single “Electricity”, together with Silk City, the duo composed of Mark Ronson and Diplo.
Her debut album “Mid Air” saw the light of day in September 2023 to an extremely positive welcome from audiences and critics alike.
