Making a long-awaited comeback, PMMP will be taking the stage at Ruisrock! Some of the band’s biggest hits from the beginning of the millennium include Rusketusraidat, Tässä elämä on, Oo siellä jossain mun and Kesäkaverit, whose choruses a whole generation knows by heart. Bubbly outspokenness, giving it one hundred percent and an unwavering attitude have always been the defining features of the band, formed by Paula Vesala, Mira Luoti, Mikko Virta, Juho Vehmanen and Heikki Kytölä.
Formed in 2003, PMMP enjoyed exceptional success over its ten-year career. Its journey was dotted with numerous sold-out performances, nine Emma Awards and seven albums. Having disbanded exactly ten years ago, the band is now making a big comeback with its bursting stage energy and explosive nostalgia at the greatest venue of them all, the island of Ruissalo in Turku, on the first weekend of July.
