HUGO is a talented pop and R&B artist from Porvoo, Finland. He met the rising rapper AHTI, who first acted as HUGO’s mentor and helped him get started as an artist. HUGO was picked up by the radar of Epic Records in early 2023, and things progressed quickly from there. HUGO’s debut single “Puhutaan suoraan” was released in June and his second single “Sijoituksii” feat. SMURDY in August.
One of the hottest names in the Finnish rap scene, AHTI released his platinum-streaming debut album “Normijäbä” in spring 2023. The album also became one of the most listened to albums in 2023. AHTI is a talented songwriter and his hand can be heard in HUGO’s song “Taulut” (feat. Costi), which has streamed double platinum.
Near the end of last year, AHTI and HUGO joined forces on the song “Väärään aikaan” (feat. HUGO), which topped the Spotify Top 50 chart following its release.
