emma & matilda is a delightful duo made up of best friends Emma and Matilda. The duo describes their music as bedroom folk, and many of their songs were in fact written in one of their bedrooms. Relationships serve as endless inspiration for their lyrics, which convey big emotions in small songs.
The duo’s debut EP was released in spring 2023 and includes songs like Veronica and Ikävä, which were hugely popular on TikTok. The first single from the duo’s second EP, Joku muu, was released in November and its remix version reached number 11 on Spotify.
