Data contained in data file:

Personal data and other necessary data is collected from individuals. Providing data is mandatory.

Purpose of data file:

Data is collected from Ruisrock’s interest and customer groups and job and internship applicants. Ruisrock saves the personal data in its data file, and data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • management and control of the customer and interest group relationship
  • organizing, developing, and providing services and functions for various customer and interest groups
  • communication concerning Ruisrock and providing information on practical issues that concern various customer and interest groups
  • recruitment

Source of data in data file:

The data in the data file is obtained through online forms filled in by the individuals themselves. Data is also collected directly from the individuals so that the contact person collects the participants’ data and submits it to Ruisrock.

Disclosure of data:

Ruisrock does not disclose data for commercial purposes. Ruisrock may give data for third parties in order to deliver festival tickets or organize accommodation.

Transfer of data outside the EU or the European Economic Area:

Ruisrock uses the American MailChimp e-mail service to send informative mail as a result of which personal data is transferred outside the EU or the EEA. Data may temporarily be processed in the Google service. However, personal data is protected as required by the Personal Data Act.

Principles of processing the data file:

Personal data is stored in a confidential manner in an electronic form in a system protected by the data protection software of the operating system. Access to the system requires a username and a password. The data contained in the data file and stored in the system can only be accessed by specific, pre-determined Ruisrock employees who have a right to use the data and are committed to confidentiality.

Data archiving and deletion:

Personal data is stored for three years for the purpose of communication in the upcoming years. The data may also be deleted upon the individual’s own request after the event or if the individual cancels his or her application.

Data from open job and internship applications is stored for 12 months.

Rights of the data subject:

The data subject has the right to review the data relating to them that has been stored. Data may be rectified or erased upon the individual’s request.

Changes to the privacy statement:

Ruisrock may change this privacy statement from time to time. The changes may be based on e.g. amendments to the legislation pertaining to data protection. A notice of material changes is sent to the e-mail address provided by the data subject, if necessary.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority:

The data subject shall have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority if the data subject considers that the processing of personal data relating to them does not comply with the existing legislation.
