23 new artists confirmed for Ruisrock and daily schedule released

The next big names added to the festival lineup include Stormzy, Don Toliver, Alok and Joker Out. With these artist announcements, Ruisrock will publish its daily schedule and put all ticket types on sale.

British rapper Stormzy, who has played a key role in elevating British rap music to global fame, has been added to Ruisrock’s artist lineup. The international rap lineup is also growing with the addition of two first-timers to Finland: Don Toliver, who gained wide recognition after his collaboration with Travis Scott, and Trippie Redd, known for his melodic style.

Known for his fantastic live shows, the electronic music producer and one of Brazil’s most successful DJs, Alok, will certainly get the party started at Ruisrock. Another announcement is Sub Focus, who, over the course of a 16-year career, has gone from an underground artist to a global dance music superstar.

A new addition to the international lineup is the much-requested Slovenian indie rock band Joker Out, who gained recognition after participating in the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest. The band is on the road to even greater success and also has warm ties to Finland, because lead vocalist Bojan became friends with Käärijä in Liverpool during Eurovision.

Finnish lineup continues to grow

Ruisrock’s Finnish rap and hip-hop setting continues to evolve with several new additions. Taking to the stage will be the boundary-breaking Käärijä with his unique sense of humour, the charismatic Cledos, the large live ensemble Ege Zulu & Orchestre as well as F, praised for her bold and visually inventive live shows. In the mix are also Hassan Maikal, who charmed audiences with his single “Yksinäistä”, and newcomers Hugo & Ahti, whose first and last joint gig with a band this summer will be at Ruisrock.

New announcements are also made to Ruisrock’s pop lineup. Pop hooks will be provided by Costee with his dark tunes, Elsa Brotherus with her enchanting way of expressing vulnerability, Evelina who is known for her many chart hits as well as Isac Elliot, one of the biggest pop stars in Finland.

The new generation of Finnish rock is represented by the beloved Luukas Oja and dystopian synth-pop band MODEM, and listeners can also dive into a deep artistic world of music with Rebekka Holi and Orvokki.

Wholly original music to the festival is brought by Business City and Good Boys, and rest assured there won’t be a lack of action at their gigs. The current lineup is completed by the new metal band LASTOUT, who has attracted great interest both in Finland and abroad.

More artist announcements will be made during the spring. Ruisrock’s daily schedule is out now and all ticket types to the festival are available on Tiketti. Some of the ticket types are sold out or fully booked.
