Vesala is one of Finland’s most versatile and respected artists – a true 21st century Renaissance person. Her music is a combination of artistic integrity and catchy pop melodies, which have propelled numerous songs to the top of radio and streaming charts. Vesala’s third album “Näkemiin melankolia”, which was released in spring 2023 in collaboration with producer Jurek, has streamed well over the gold threshold.
Vesala’s solo career began in 2016 with her eponymous debut album, which won four Emma Awards. The platinum-streaming “Etsimässä rauhaa” (2020) cemented her position at the forefront of Finnish pop with the hits “Nyt on lähtö” and “Uusia unelmia”. The multi-award-winning artist has also received recognition for her lyrics and performances – including the Live Performance of the Year award for her concert at Hartwall Arena.
