Hailing from Jyväskylä, Sonia is an up-and-coming artist whose soulful, richly textured voice draws listeners in. With a strong musical background, Sonia has performed in numerous gigs as a drummer, including with the live lineup of the band Younghearted. Now focusing on her solo career, the artist composes and writes the lyrics for her songs herself. Navigating the terrain of alternative pop, her music reflects influences from both 070 Shake and Jordan Rake.
Sonia released her highly anticipated debut album “Punainen Kuu” in the spring of 2025. The album’s first single, “Kontrollii,” launched a new and confident Sonia 2.0 era. The charismatic Sonia kicked off 2026 with the single “PLAYBOY,” which rose to the Spotify Top 50 chart after its release.
