Orkidea has been one of the most influential DJs in the Nordic countries since the early 1990s. Starting out in illegal underground parties, he is known for his style that blends trance and house music. Some of his best-known tracks, such as Unity and Nana, have been played by artists like Armin van Buuren and Eric Prydz. As a remixer, Orkidea has been commissioned by names such as DJ Tiësto and Nightwish. In recent years, his versions of tracks by Fred Again and Bicep have gained significant attention on SoundCloud.
Over the course of his career, Orkidea has performed thousands of gigs across six continents. In addition to festivals, he has played at iconic clubs such as Fabric in London, KitKatClub in Berlin, and Café del Mar in Ibiza. He has also been involved in creating events such as the record-breaking, sold-out Classical Trancelations, Serena’s Pacifique, Skidit Disko, and UMK.
