Hailing from Jyväskylä, Lauri Haav is known for his powerful lyrics, uncompromising production and versatile combinations of genres.
Haav’s career began in 2019 when he released the EP “Nyt ja heti”. His first album, “Silmät kii” (2020), debuted at number five on the Official Finnish Albums Chart and earned him three Emma nominations, among others.
After charming audiences during the autumn 2025 season of the Vain Elämää TV show and dominating the Spotify charts with his covers, Haav is getting ready to release his next album, which has already been previewed with two successful singles.
