Saturday Disco, or “Ladi,” is an institution of nightlife. This Helsinki-based DJ collective has refined its skills into becoming masters of versatile pop music, creating powerful sets from the latest hits, the best classics, and forgotten gems, perfect for any occasion. Behind it all is the legendary club night that filled dance floors at Tavastia week after week from 2009 to 2024. The collective continues its activities through gigs and its own events, now often hosted at venues such as Kuudes Linja.
In addition to club performances, the Lauantaidisko DJs have appeared at festivals, on the main stage of Slush, and at a wide range of student and corporate events, as well as producing shows for Radio Helsinki. The current active lineup is run by DJs Erkko and Lunawil, with Harvest and Mini also part of the latest formation. They have a strong command of various themes, from the ’80s and ’90s to the 2000s, as well as Finnish music and indie sleaze vibes, without forgetting the nostalgia rooted in Lauantaidisko’s own golden years.
