Kukkatalo released their second album, “Ristiriita,” in February 2026. Radio Helsinki selected it as the album of the week, and Helsingin Sanomat newspaper commented on the album as follows: “In Kukkatalo’s joyful 2020s recycled mishmash, combining rap and rock feels like a completely natural aesthetic choice that needs no explanation. Rapping has no longer been a subculture for a long time, but rather a defining part of contemporary pop expression, right down to karaoke. This is also self-evident on Kukkatalo’s second album.”
