Nemesis is an alternative rock band from Turku, inspired by the spirit of the 90s. The band was founded in early 2024 and has been a member of the Turku Rock Academy since spring 2025. Their music draws influences from genres such as grunge, early 2000s rock, and britpop.
The lineup consists of 17-year-old frontlining duo Fiia Lorimer and Carla Mononen Gómez. They are supported on drums and bass by Fil Haides and Roope Sainisto. Despite the members’ young age, the band’s skill level is high and their drive to create their own kind of music even higher.
In summer 2025, Nemesis released their debut single “Decode”. The band is set to release new music this summer, created in collaboration with Turku Rock Academy and to be released through V.R Label.
