Sat 4.7.

The iconic pop duo Nylon Beat was a pioneer in Finnish pop music in the 1990s and 2000s, making music that created a soundtrack for an entire generation. The explosive duo, consisting of Jonna Geagea and Erin Anttila, managed to build an impressive catalogue that still lives on in Finnish popular culture.

Nylon Beat rose to the top of the Finnish music scene with their self-titled debut album released in 1996. The album includes several huge hits, such as “Rakastuin mä looseriin”, “Teflonlove” and “Naparengas”. The duo’s exceptional energy, catchy choruses and bold, unpretentious charisma quickly made Nylon Beat not only a chart success but also a phenomenon and a role model. Songs such as “Viimeinen”, “Satasen laina” and “Syytön” became classics of their time and still live on in radio play and in the memories of listeners.

Nylon Beat ended their active career at the turn of 2004 after eight successful years and over half a million records sold. Since then, Nylon Beat has performed together a few times, always thrilling audiences. In the summer of 2026, the band will return once again to Ruissalo after more than 20 years.
