Travis Scott’s performance at Ruisrock cancelled – replaced by hyped hip hop group Migos

The Ruisrock Sunday headliner, American rap artist Travis Scotthas cancelled his show at the festival, referring to logistic reasons.

Scott’s spot at the Niittylava stage will be filled by pioneers of trap music, the hip hop trio Migos from Atlanta, US. Known for their hits Bad and Boujee, Motor Sportand Stir Fry, the trio has worked with Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry among others.

“I’m extremely upset about this cancellation. I want to especially apologise to our audience who have looked forward to the gig so much. The cancellation has nothing to do with Ruisrock, and the only explanation we’ve been given is logistic reasons. However, I’m very pleased that we managed to bring in a first-class replacement at such a short notice”, says festival promoter Mikko Niemelä.

An unused Sunday ticket will be refunded by request. Customers who wish to get a refund should contact the official Ruisrock ticket vendor Tiketti on Monday, July 8, at 9 am at the earliest.
