Ruisrock was celebrated in Ruissalo, Turku on 8 – 10 July 2022 after two years of postponement. The sold out festival attracted a total of 105 000 visitors during the weekend. The festival audience was greeted with outstanding performances by a total of 110 artists – both international and domestic superstars, as well as new up and coming acts. Among the highlights of the festival were headliners Major Lazer, Martin Garrix and Megan Thee Stallion, who dazzled the festival guests with world-class live productions and outstanding performances.
”Ruisrock was clearly a highly anticipated festival to our audience, and the 51st Ruisrock will be remembered as the year that rose up to the challenge and met all the expectations. This is precisely what we want to give to our visitors, as Ruisrock exists to make the world a happier and a more joyful place,” says Ruisrock’s promoter Mikko Niemelä. ”This weekend really showed how important it is that Ruisrock was able to deliver the wide range of music, experiences and happiness to all our attendees. After a sold out festival weekend it is so inspiring to start planning the 2023 edition of Ruisrock!”
The 52nd Ruisrock will be held on 7 – 9 July 2023 in Ruissalo, Turku.
