Accessibility wristband

This year, Ruisrock is implementing a unified application form for accessibility services, which must be completed before the specified date by anyone who wishes to use the services. You can specify the accessibility services you require on the application, and once you have submitted the form, you will receive a confirmation message and further information about the accessibility services you have chosen by email. Please note that you must purchase your festival ticket before completing the form. The accessibility wristband does not grant access to the festival grounds and instead festival tickets will be checked at the entrance.

The form must be completed by 23:59 on 4 July 2022. You can access the form here.

Everyone who completes the form will receive an accessibility wristband. The wristband will make it easier for you to use the Ruisrock accessibility services during the festival. The wristband will allow you to access the following services:

  • Accessible arrival to the festival in a wheelchair accessible taxi or regular taxi via the accessible parking area.
  • Accessible entrance, elevated viewing platforms, accessible toilets, lowered coat check counter, lowered bar tops, and wheelchair accessible shuttle service.

The wristband does not automatically allow you to bring an assistant or interpreter with you to the festival grounds free of charge, and you must instead use one of the documents listed below to verify that you require an assistant or interpreter. The wristband also does not automatically entitle you to arrive at the accessible parking area in your own car, as you will need an accessible parking permit granted by Ruisrock to do so.

You can use the following documents to verify that you require an assistant or interpreter:

  • A disability card granted by your home municipality or some other instance that indicates that you require a person to assist or accompany you
  • EU Disability Card with the letter A to indicate the need of an assistant or an accompanying support person.
  • Visual Impairment Card

You can also use a notice of decision granting you any of the following benefits or services, and thus making you eligible for the EU Disability Card as verification if it includes the letter A:

  • Interpreting services for persons with a hearing impairment
  • Interpreting services for persons with hearing and visual impairments
  • Interpreting services for persons with a speech impairment
  • Official agreement on care by a family member (disability card intended for the cared person)
  • Travel companion service (as part of transport services provided under the Act on Services for Persons with Disabilities or decision on mobility assistance provided under the Social Welfare Act)
  • Assisted living decision under the Act on Services for Persons with Disabilities
  • Personal assistance decision under the Act on Services for Persons with Disabilities
  • Decision and services based on a special care program
  • Special needs support decision

You can verify your need of accessibility services using all documents that entitle you to use an assistant or interpreter as well as the following documents:

Or proof of a decision granting you one of the following benefits or services, and thus making you eligible for the EU Disability Card:

  • Disability allowance for children under 16 years of age
  • Disability allowance for persons aged 16 years or over
  • Care allowance for pensioners
  • Decision on transport services under the Act on Services for Persons with Disabilitie
  • Decision on mobility assistance provided under the Social Welfare Act (transport service decision)
  • Decision on day activities under the Act on Services for Persons with Disabilities

You can use the following documents as verification for your need of an accessible parking permit:

Once your application has been approved, you can collect your personal accessibility wristband from the Ruisrock accreditation desk with a form of identification and your festival ticket. The accreditation desk can be found at the Radisson Blu Marina Palace hotel. The opening hours of the accreditation desk will be specified in the confirmation email. The wristband must be collected in person, as the wristband is secured around your arm as you collect it. Assistants and interpreters will also receive a wristband.
