Toivo-Olavi is a brand-new one-man project by a student of the Rock Academy whose music draws inspiration from modern metal all the way to pop ballads. Perhaps the most fundamental feature of Toivo-Olavi’s music is its electronic elements, surrounded by a massive selection of band instruments, synths and big vocal arrangements. The artist composes and writes all of his songs himself, and he is accompanied by a three-person backup band on stage. Saturday at Ruisrock presents honest interpretations and beautiful melodies.
