Ruisrock released first performers and collects dearest festival photos and stories

Celebrated July 7th - 9th, 2017, Ruisrock has released its first artists. Next summer Ruissalo will see the EDM sensation Martin Garrix, Cheek’s and Elastinen’s supergroup Profeetat, and one of the most interesting Swedish pop musicians of today, Tove Lo.

Only 20-year-old Dutch Martin Garrix has conquered festivals’ main stages around the world. His latest release, In The Name Of Love, is a collaborative hit with Bebe Rexha. Titled the most promising songwriter in the Nordic countries, Tove Lo recently released her second studio album Lady Wood.

Finnish line-up offers rare festival performances

Ruisrock provides a chance to see artists who rarely perform in Finland. Cheek’s and Elastinen’s supergroup Profeetat will only tour in few towns in addition to Turku. Additionally lined up is Alma who is breaking through internationally and during the summer will perform only on one other Finnish festival besides Ruisrock. Finnish line-up will be topped up with one of the most popular Finnish female pop artists, Sanni.

Ruisrock collects festival guests’ photos and stories

Ruisrock has also started a social media campaign to gather festival guests’ dearest stories and best photos. The stories can be told on Ruisrock’s Facebook, and the photos can be shared on Instagram with the hashtag #tbruisrock. Five lucky story or photo sharers will be rewarded with a memorable festival experience.

Tickets to Ruisrock are available for the moment at an early bird price of 145 € (incl. service fees). Tickets are sold by Tiketti and Lippu.fi. More releases will be coming up during the winter and spring, follow Ruisrock’s social media!
